Thomas W. Cusimano, Jr.
Thomas “Tom” W. Cusimano, Jr. grew up in Western New York and graduated with honors from Allegheny College (PA) where he met his future wife, Jungsil, and where both of their children would later graduate. After graduating from Syracuse University College of Law, Mr. Cusimano began his legal career as a prosecutor in the Broome County (NY) District Attorney’s Office. While an Assistant District Attorney he participated in over fifty jury trials and well over 300 non-jury trials.
Mr. Cusimano later went into private practice and became a partner in one of the largest law firms in Upstate New York, concentrating his practice on Business Litigation and Personal Injury Law. Tom was recognized as an authority on Mortgage Foreclosures and frequently lectured on that topic in Continuing Legal Education seminars. For over twenty-five years, he represented clients accused of crimes in New York’s state and federal courts. He also served as the President of the Broome County Bar Association, President of the Broome County Bar Foundation and was named to the New York Super Lawyers from 2010 to 2013, the last four years he practiced in New York. He was admitted to practice law in Florida in 2002.
In 2013 Mr. Cusimano left the snow and moved to Florida with Jungsil, a physician in Tampa. He joined Mander Law Group in 2015 and now concentrates his practice on Plaintiff’s Personal Injury and Criminal Defense. He is admitted to practice law in both New York and Florida.
