When we get married, our intention is to have the marriage last forever. A divorce is one of the most stressful events a person will face. It splits up a family and creates major changes. Take care of yourself and start focusing on your own needs. Fill up your life with activities that you want to do. This is your time to think about you and your future. You won’t have to deal with the effects of divorce forever. Life will get better; it just takes time.
