President Drove Florida Man to Drink and Drive

The bizarre incident occurred on the evening of July 30. An 82-year-old man was charged with DUI after crashing a golf cart. The man drove over a curb, breaking the golf cart’s axle and windshield. Fortunately, the man suffered no injuries in the crash.
The man was charged with driving under the influence. But why did he drink before taking a ride on his golf cart? Well, he had quite a unique excuse. His reason was that he got mad after watching President Trump on TV. He got angry with something he said and proceeded to drink vodka.
Why Do People Drink and Drive?
Motorists know that drinking and driving is wrong and even illegal, but many do it anyway. Why do they choose to put their lives and the lives of others in danger? Why don’t they find another way to get home?
Some people feel invincible after drinking alcohol. Alcohol use impacts decision-making skills and gives you poor judgment. Even if you get a ride from a friend, they may ask for gas money. Many people are strapped for cash and just don’t have the extra money to pay someone to take them home. It’s cheaper to just drive home – until they are pulled over for a DUI and forced to pay thousands of dollars in fees and fines to get their license back.
